My Life in Context
It's my career, really, using the written word to help people define and conceptualize context. In the context of my life, writing has been my calling ever since I was a kid. It represented creativity, freedom, expression and travel. Words have literally taken me places. They've also served to craft the right context for clients to express themselves.
I've been enormously fortunate to be able to use words in my life and my career to help people better understand the stakes, the concept, the idea in fields ranging from luxury automotive to scrappy indie publishing. That ability has served me well with friends, clients and consumers. For more than 22 years, engineering contextual messaging through various media (and sure, in conjunction with visuals too. I'd hate to give anyone short shrift) has helped me craft a successful career. I've won awards, business pitches (somewhere north of $100 million worth in billings) and, most importantly, the respect of my clients and my team for what I can help them accomplish.
There's still more I want to do, of course. That's why I'm here. Just trying to keep it all in context.
